When we first started planning Palmetto Taps inside the Jerry Cox Building, we knew how important this spot was—not just to downtown Conway, but to Horry County. We didn't want to just open a bar. We wanted to build something that felt right for this community...

When we first started planning Palmetto Taps inside the Jerry Cox Building, we knew how important this spot was—not just to downtown Conway, but to Horry County.
We didn't want to just open a bar. We wanted to build something that felt right for this community.
The beer? Yeah, it had to be great. But the space? That had to be built around you. From the cornhole out front, to the board games on the patio, to the fact your dog's just as welcome to hang out outside as you are—we designed this place to be more than a taproom.
We wanted it to be where friends hang out, families meet up, and total strangers end up swapping stories over a pint.
We're proud to be the area's first self-serve taproom, but even prouder to say this:
